When to schedule deep cleaning between rental guests

A rental apartment can be tidily prepared while its sofa, carpet or armchair still shows longer-term use. Guests may not name the cause, but odours, stains and tired textiles affect their overall impression.

Routine turnover cleaning deals with daily tidiness, dust and basic hygiene. Deep cleaning is a separate task, planned when textiles no longer look fresh, odours return or use becomes visible on sofas, armchairs, rugs or headboards.

The best times to plan

Useful opportunities include gaps between guests with enough time for work and drying, before the season, after a long stay or following high occupancy. For rental apartments, avoid booking treatment too late: the space must be ready for the next arrival.

What most often needs treatment?

Sofas, armchairs, chairs, rugs, fitted carpets and upholstered headboards receive the heaviest use. Bedside stains, darkened armrests, odours that remain after airing and differences between quieter and busier areas indicate that deep cleaning may be due.

How is the work agreed?

Photographs of rooms, furniture and surfaces help with the estimate. We need check-out and arrival times and the drying interval available. The scope and sequence are then proposed around these constraints.

What can realistically improve?

Deep cleaning can significantly refresh textiles, reduce odours and improve the interior’s appearance. Old stains, permanent fading and physically damaged fibres cannot always return to their original condition. Regular maintenance is therefore better than waiting until every guest notices the problem.
